Garyen Denning

Garyen Denning has long been a name in real estate. Back in the 1990’s Garyen Denning helped bring commercial development to the suburbs. Since then, he has been focusing on finding turnkey development options, creative financing and real estate operations to other clients. Garyen Denning is currently working on the Red Draw project which will be a mixed-use development in the suburbs which houses retail, restaurants and a bowling alley for residents to enjoy. Garyen managed Red Draw’s restaurant and hospitality division for several national concepts and handled the growth and development of our brands.

Garyen graduated from Wake Forest University and went on to receive his Masters in Business from the Warrington School at the University of Florida. Garyen worked in the wine industry for more than 15 years and has an extensive background managing domestic sales for E&J Gallo Winery in the Chicago market. In Lexington, Garyen developed his expertise in sales and marketing by working with a number of local brands including Three Rivers Distilling Co. and Craft Beer Cellar. With an eye towards growth, Garyen is currently pursuing business development opportunities with local restaurants and business owners.

For Red Draw projects, Garyen works with the client and financial institutions up front to put competitive financing packages in place for the benefit of all parties, ensuring a successful long-term relationship with all stakeholders. With Garyen’s keen insight and knowledge, he was able to take over and ensure the successful delivery of some projects in the portfolio. With this, we were able to provide a finished product to our tenants on time and within budget. He currently serves as chair of the Bluegrass Airport and has served on the Board since 2016.
